Clematis is a hardy flowering vine that grows well in Edmonton’s climate. It produces an abundance of colorful blooms from late spring through fall, depending on the variety. Thriving in full sun with cool, shaded roots and well-drained soil, clematis is perfect for trellises, fences, and arbors, adding beautiful vertical color to gardens year after year. Requires a shady base and hot top to thrive. Hardy once established.

Hops is a fast-growing, hardy perennial vine that thrives in Edmonton's climate. It quickly climbs trellises, fences, and arbors, producing lush green foliage and decorative cone-shaped flowers in summer. Easy to grow in full sun with well-drained soil, hops are valued for creating natural privacy screens and can also be harvested for home brewing. It dies back each fall and returns vigorously each spring.
